About the event

We have a client seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimating Director to join our team in overseeing cost management, project estimation, project management, budgeting, and construction management tasks. This role is based in The Greater Atlanta Area, but has the flexibility for remote work. The candidate would be responsible for ensuring project costs are controlled, schedules are maintained, and quality standards are met across all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ● Oversee and manage the cost control, estimation, and project management functions for multiple projects.
  • ● Develop accurate project budgets and manage financial aspects to ensure projects are completed within scope.
  • ● Lead and coordinate estimating teams to ensure timely and precise project estimations.
  • ● Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensureeffective project execution and delivery.
  • ● Ensure that all construction projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations,and client specifications.
  • ● Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or risks that arise, and adjustingschedules and resources as necessary.
  • ● Provide clear and regular communication to clients, senior leadership, and projectteams.
  • ● Implement best practices for cost management and project control, using innovativesolutions to optimize project efficiency.
  • ● Prepare comprehensive reports, forecasts, and updates on project statuses, budgets,and resource allocation.Qualifications:
  • ● Proven expertise in Cost Management, Project Estimation, Project Management, Budgeting, and Construction Management.
  • ● Experience in leading and coordinating estimating teams to meet project demands efficiently.
  • ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • ● Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of working with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • ● Proficiency in industry-standard software tools and applications, such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, or equivalent project management systems.
  • ● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • ● Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field ispreferred or equivalent experience in the manufacturing industry for wood/ forestproducts.
  • ● Strong knowledge of construction processes, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • ● Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
