For over 25 years, our client has grown from the management of two associations, to the full-service, management, and maintenance company that it is today, with a portfolio of over 350 associations, consisting of more than 54,000 individual unit/home owner accounts.
Principal Accountabilities:
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH
1) Financial preparation
2) Journal Entries
3) Bank reconciliations
Ability to prepare financial Statements (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss)
Prepare weekly and monthly journal entries.
Needs to calculate and upload standard journal entries pertaining to general ledger activity, including but not limited to, accruals, expenses, cash receipts, and other association activities.
Prepare regular monthly reports to analyze receivables, payables and other areas requiring attention on the financial status.
Manage daily and monthly Bank Reconciliations for each of the associations' accounts.
Prepare monthly Financial Statements -- analyze budget -- vs -- actual expenses, and the ability to explain significant variances as well as analyze the General Ledger.
Monthly closing procedures.
Prepare 1099's at end of year.
Develop business relationships with bank executives, CPA's and members of the Board of Directors.
Provide accounting records to CPA's at the year-end for audit purposes.

Required Experience:
Bookkeeping Experience 2 years
Language: Fluent in English, Spanish a plus!
